CAC’s farming community comprises eleven farm businesses varying in scale and scope; ranging from 3 to 60 acres, and organically growing a wide variety of vegetables, herbs, flowers, and fruits. More than 75% of our farms are women or BIPOC owned.
CAC farms supply a number of farmers markets, wholesale, and restaurant accounts across the NYC metropolitan area, and the mid-Hudson valley region. Additionally, many participate in food access programs such as the Food Sovereignty Fund, Cornell Gleaning Program, among others, and are involved with community empowering and food sovereignty initiatives, growing not just food but also people, and people power.
